When I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to become a teacher. Both of my parents are educators, so I was surrounded and immersed in the field of education all my life. The defining moment which cemented my ambition to become a teacher occurred in the 10th grade when my computer teacher called on me for a presentation. At the conclusion, the teacher told me I would be a great teacher some day.
In 1999, I joined the faculty of The Bright School. The whole atmosphere of Bright School attracted me here. The supportive relationships and the culture of learning are special here, and I feel very honored to be a part of this wonderful community. My husband Bill and I love to travel, especially to University of Miami Hurricane football games. On September 25, 2007, a boy bundle of joy joined our family. I can't believe that he is eight years old already and in 2nd grade. Where does the time go??? In my spare time, I like to read, play tennis, SHOP and spend time with my family and friends.
